Lina Robins is a singer and musician from the west side of O‘ahu, Hawai’i, where she was born and raised. She hailed from a long line of musicians, songwriters, and hula dancers and grew up singing Hawaiian music since the age of two. Line is inspired by her dad, who she says, has a "passion for music," introducing her to R&B, Soul, Jazz, Pop, and Rock and Roll. Lina plays the ‘Ukulele, Guitar, and Bass and has performed professionally for over ten years. One of her proudest moments was being on the Oprah Show at age 12 with one of her heroes, Mariah Carey.
She has toured worldwide to perform as a solo artist, background vocalist, and ensemble performer. For ten years, she has played Hawaiian music in a trio formed by her and her cousins, called ‘Uhe’uhene. Solo, Lina performs a mixture of R&B, Pop, and Gospel, bringing a soulful lift to Hawaiian and Island music. She released a collaborative single with singer-songwriter Izik in August 2023 called “Face2face,” recorded in studio with Calvin Canha.
